January 8, 2024 Michael Petrella, Baldwin Wallace Petrella posted a 3-0 record at the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) National duals.  He won his first match by pinfall in 4:19 over Chase Kmosena of Luther (Iowa) College.  Petrella then went up a weight class and defeated the No. 2 nationally ranked 157-pounder in Javen Estrada of North Central (Ill.) College by a 9-1 major decision.  He won his final match with a 17-1 technical fall over Jashon Holmes of Castleton (Vt.) University.

December 18, 2023 Doug Byrne, Baldwin Wallace Byrne went 4-0 at the Gator Boot Duals winning all of his matches by pinfall. He won his first match in 6:46 over 6:46 Trent Ragland of No. 24 Averett (Va.) University. Byrne needed just 26 seconds to beat of Leno Campbell of No. 13 Millikin (Ill.) University. He then pinned Marco Malerba of Roanoke (Va.) College in 1:52. Byrne closed out his day beating Jack Haury of Huntingdon (Ala.) College in 1:05.

December 11, 2023 Michael Petrella, Baldwin Wallace Petrella won his second title of the season at the North Central (Ill.) College Invitational with a 4-0 record.  Petrella received a bye in the first round, then won a 15-5 major decision over Lucas Jagodzinske of Augsburg. He then posted back-to-back pinfalls over Caleb Magruder of North Central in 3:42 and over Kenny Siwicki of North Central in 1:30. Petrella claimed the title as he won an 18-2 technical fall over Daniel Uribe of Wabash (Ind.).

November 20, 2023 Zac Stray, Otterbein Stray led the Cardinals to a come from behind win over Mount Union for the first time in program history. With Otterbein down 18-16, Stray took the mat for a winner-take-all heavyweight showdown against Zak Taylor and secured a 13-0 major decision.

November 6, 2023 Hunter Kupniewski, Baldwin Wallace Kupniewski, who entered the Ithica Invite ranked fifth, claimed his first career invitational championship with a 5-0 record.  He opened the invitational with a 16-0 technical fall win over Kayo Torres of Springfield (Mass.) College, and then posted two more technical fall victories over Ethan Kring of Greensboro (N.C.) College and Pedro Cruz of Ithaca by scores of 16-1 and 17-2, respectively. Kupniewski advanced to the championship match with a 6-3 decision victory over BW’s Tommy West. He claimed the title with a 6-1 sudden victory decision over Nicholas Roeger of Castleton (V.T.) University.

He did not wrestle against Muskingum in the final match of the OAC Dual on Saturday. Petrella began the week with a victory in 6:25 over Nathan Leko of Otterbein. He closed out the week with victories against Cael Vanderhorst of ONU in in 4:48 and then Frank DiMarco of JCU in 2:17. January 16, 2023 Jacob Reed, Ohio Northern Reed posted a perfect 5-0 record at 141 pounds with two pins and two major decisions to lead ONU to a fourth-place finish at the Lycoming (Pa.) Duals on Friday and Saturday. The Polar Bears went 3-0 in Friday's pool play with wins of 46-0 over Penn College, 30-13 over Lycoming and 31-15 over Springfield (Mass.) to advance to the event's championship bracket. ONU fell 32-16 to No. 8 Wisconsin-Eau Claire in the semifinals and 27-14 to No. 21 Ithaca (N.Y.) in Saturday's consolation round.

January 2, 2023 Andrew Perelka, John Carroll Perelka went 5-0 to win the 133-weight class at the Citrus Invitational. Perelka won his first-round match by pin (0:43) and his second-round match by technical fall (16-1). Perelka would then pin his opponent in the quarterfinals (0:39) and semifinals (5:14) to bring him to the finals. In the finals, won 20-4 by technical fall.

Byrne won his opening match by pinfall in 51 seconds over Alex Searfoss of Manchester (Ind.) University. He then cruised to the finals with pinfall victories over Connor Heineman of Case Western Reserve University in 1:08 and Isaiah Johnson of Delaware Valley (Pa.) University in 2:02. Byrne claimed the 197-pound title by pinning Stephen Andryc of Case Western Reserve in 24 seconds.

December 5, 2016 Hayden Bates, Heidelberg Bates won the 141-pound weight class with a 4-0 record to help the Berg to the ONU Invitational team title. Bates picked up a tech fall over Otterbein's Robe Harris, 21-5, before he pinned ONU's Jeff Andrews in 4:00. Bates followed up the pin by another fall, pinning Alma's Jacob Anderson in 2:26. The freshman won the title with a major decision over Campbellsville's Jayce Carr, 13-1.
