Heidelberg senior Richard Dowdley (Cleveland/Ginn Academy) opened up the season with a first place finish in the 184 weight class at the Washington and Jefferson Invitational on Saturday.  Dowdley had three pins in his four wins, including a quick 9-second pin in the championship match against Ryan Winslow of Wheeling Jesuit.
