Perelka won the125 Gold Division at the Ohio Intercollegiate Open with a 4-0 record. Perelka won by decision over Ashland’s Wellman and Clarion’s Park and won by fall over Ohio State’s Mead and Indiana University’s Croin. He was the only Div. III champion in the Gold Division.
