Gross led the way for the Raiders with a first place finish at 165 pounds at the Mount Union Invitational. Gross defeated Nick Vandermeer (Lake Erie) in the quarterfinals and Nate Ross (Gannon) in the finals match; Vandermeer and Ross are the #7 and #10 wrestlers in Division II, respectively. Gross's performance led him to be named the invitiational's outstanding wrestler.
