Byrne posted a 5-0 record last week all by pinfall to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 38-3 OAC opening victory over Heidelberg last Tuesday and to the team title at the annual BW Invitational last Saturday. Byrne pinned Braedan Kahl of Heidelberg in 1:49. He closed out the week by capturing the 197-pound title at the BW Invitational.  Byrne won his opening match by pinfall in 51 seconds over Alex Searfoss of Manchester (Ind.) University.  He then cruised to the finals with pinfall victories over Connor Heineman of Case Western Reserve University in 1:08 and Isaiah Johnson of Delaware Valley (Pa.) University in 2:02.  Byrne claimed the 197-pound title by pinning Stephen Andryc of Case Western Reserve in 24 seconds.
