Leon touched first in the 50-meter backstroke (32.82 seconds), the 100-meter backstroke (1:09.36) and the 100-meter IM (1:11.81). She also a member of the winning 200-meter freestyle relay (1:58.29).
February 22, 2021 Gwyn Ledrick, John Carroll Ledrick led the Blue Streaks past Wilmington on Friday with wins in 200 Individual Medley (2:13.24) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:07.00). On Saturday, Ledrick took home wins in the 200 Free (1:57.32), 200 Breaststroke (2:28.23), and the 100 IM (1:02.53) to lead JCU past Ohio Northern.
February 15, 2021 Catherine Steinwachs, John Carroll Steinwachs placed first in the 1-meter dive with 323.1 points to help with Blue Streaks to a victory over Baldwin Wallace. Steinwachs scored 145.05 points in the main event and 178.05 points in the optional event.
February 8, 2021 Gwyn Ledrick, John Carroll Ledrick led the Blue Streaks past Mount Union on Saturday, touching first in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.13), 100 freestyle (54.54) and 200 IM (2:12.69).
February 1, 2021 Megan Lubinski, Ohio Northern Lubinsku won four events to help the Polar Bears to a season-opening victory over Wilmington. Lubinski won the 200-yard free in 1:58.89, the 50 free in :25.09 and the 100 free in :54.99. She was also a member of the winning 400 free relay team (3:51.22).
February 3, 2020 Callie Landry, Mount Union Landry led the Purple Raiders against Notre Dame and Westminster (Pa.) In a win over Notre Dame, Landry posted two wins in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:31.03 and in the 400-yard IM clocking a time of 4:57.25.
January 27, 2020 Maddie Panus, John Carroll Panus helped JCU to wins over Ashland and Wilmington last week. Against Ashland, Panus touch second in the 100 yard backstroke (1:02.13) and was part of the winning 200 yard medley relay (1:53.44) and 200 yard free relay (1:43.75). At Wilmington, Panus took home first in the 50 meter free (29:03), second in the 50 meter backstroke and was part of the 200 meter medley relay (2:13.36) and 200 meter free relay (1:56.20).
December 23, 2019 Erika Nockengost Baldwin Wallace Nockengost won the 100-yard freestyle (58.86) and tied in the 100-yard individual (1:06.22) to help lead the Yellow Jackets past Buffalo State University. Nockengost was also the final leg on the winning 200-medley relay (2:00.48).
December 23, 2019 Marissa Kural Baldwin Wallace Kural captured the 100-yard butterfly (1:03.19) and tied in the 100-yard individual medley in a time (1:06.22) to help the Yellow Jackets to a victory over Buffalo State University.
December 9, 2019 Abby Schauer Ohio Northern Schauer led the Polar Bears at the Wooster Invitational with three top-10 finishes. Schauer finished fourth in the 200 back in 2:09.53, sixth in the 400 I.M. in 4:50.81 and ninth in the 200 I.M. in 2:15.20. She was also a member of the 400 medley relay team that was seventh in 4:11.99 and the 800 free relay team that finished 10th in 8:25.98.
November 25, 2019 Bella Ratino Baldwin Wallace Ratino won one event and placed fifth in another to help lead BW to a fourth place finish at the Oberlin College Invitational last weekend. She won the 400-yard individual medley in a school-record time of 4:44.00 on the final day. Ratino also placed fifth in the 500-yard freestyle in a season-best time of 5:21.51.
November 11, 2019 Lauren Stajcar Mount Union Stajcar led the Purple Raiders past Baldwin Wallace last Friday with two individual first place finishes. She was also part of the winning 200 Medley Relay.
November 4, 2019 Gwyn Ledrick John Carroll Ledrick helped the Blue Steaks to a victory over Mount Union with four first place finishes. Her times in the 100 and 200 breaststroke both rank third fastest in Div. III this season.
October 28, 2019 Gwyn Ledrick John Carroll Ledrick helped the Blue Steaks to a victory over Ohio Northern by touching first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.98) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:28.69). Both her times rank among the 25 in Div.III. Ledrick was also a member of the winnings 200 medley relay team.
October 21, 2019 Alexis Schuller Mount Union Schuller picked up three first place finished to lead the Purple Raiders against Malone and Hiram over the weekend. At Malone, Schuller won the 500 Freestyle (5:34.40) and placed second in the 200 Freestyle (2:03.79). Against Hiram, Schuller touched first in the 1,000 Freestyle (11:36.86) and was a member of the winning 200 Freestyle relay team (26.77 split).
February 4, 2019 Aurelia Incristi Mount Union Incristi won two individual events and was a member of the winning 400-yard freestyle relay to help lead the Purple Raiders past Westminster. Incristi won the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.30) and 200-yard IM (2:19.96).
January 28, 2019 Shelbi Shearer John Carroll Shearer led the Blue Steaks past Wilmington (156-95) and to an exciting come from behind tie against Div. III Ashland. Shearer won five out of six of her events.
January 14, 2019 Megan Lubinski Ohio Northern Lubinski took home four first place finishes to lead the Polar Bears past Mount Union, 149-142. Lubinski won the 500 free (25.72), 100 free (56.67) and 200 free (2:03.54) and was part of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:54.84). Lubinski also took home third in the 100-free (56.45) against No. 2 Kenyon the day prior.
January 7, 2019 Erika Nockengost Baldwin Wallace Nockengost led BW with a victory and a third-place finish in a loss to Division II Rollins College during its winter break training trip in Florida. She won the 50-yard butterfly in a season-best time of 28.41 and was third in the 50-yard breaststroke in a season-best time of 34.52. In addition, Nockengost swam the third leg on the second-place 200-yard medley relay team (1:55.04).
December 10, 2018 Sarah Gonda Mount Union Gonda led the Purple Raiders past St. Vincent (142-120), touching first in the 50-yard (29.18) and 100-yard backstroke (1:02.40). Gonda was also part of the first place 200-yard medley Relay (1:56.04).
December 3, 2018 Lauren Halle Ohio Northern Halle led ONU to a sixth place finish out of 11 teams at the Wooster Invitational. Halle’s performance was highlighted with a win in the 400 IM in (4:42.76), third place in the 100 fly (2:15. 26) and 10th in the 200 IM (2:14.62).
November 19, 2018 Gwyn Ledrick John Carroll Ledrick won three individual events at the Wabash Invitational to helped the Blue Streaks to sixth place. All three of her wins rank in the top-20 of Div. III this season. Ledrick won and broke her own school record in the 100 breast (1:03.96, 4th), and won the 200 breaststroke (2:19.91, 5th) and 200 IM (2:09.21, 16th).
November 12, 2018 Aurelia Incristi Mount Union Incristi led the Purple Raiders against Baldwin Wallace, recording first place in the 50-yard freestyle (25.79) and 100-yard freestyle (56.61). She was also part of the winning 200-yard free relay (1:44.49). Incristi won the 100-yard freestyle (56.48) and 200-yard freestyle (2:05.29) as the Purple Raiders defeated Oberlin College the following day.
November 5, 2018 Gwyn Ledrick John Carroll Ledrick was a four-time winner and help lead the Blue Streaks past Mount Union. Individually, Ledrick won the 100 breaststroke (1:08.27), 100 freestyle (56.46) and 200 IM (2:16.66). She was also part of the winning 400 medley relay (4:07.84).
October 29, 2018 Tori Vale John Carroll Vale won the 100 backstroke (1:02.40) and 100 butterfly (1:00.92) to help the Blue Streaks to a 171-117 win over Ohio Northern. Vale was also part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:52.84) and 200 free relay (1:44.32) teams.
October 22, 2018 Lauren Oktavec Mount Union Oktavec recorded first place in the 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke and was a member of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team as Mount Union defeated Malone 134-126 on Friday. On Saturday, Oktavec took first in the 50-meter freestyle and was a part of the winning 200-meter medley relay and 200-meter freestyle relay to help Mount Union defeat Hiram, 157-64.
February 5, 2018 Lauren Oktavec, Mount Union In a loss at Westminster, Oktavec recorded wins in the 100 and 200 yard backstroke with a times of 1:01.61 and 2:15.45, respectively. Oktavec was also a member of the 400 yard freestyle team that placed first with a time of 3:48.93 where her split was 56.96. As a member of the 200 yard medley relay team that finished second, her split was 29.41 while her team finished with a time of 1:56.12. In a loss at Westminster, Oktavec recorded wins in the 100 and 200 yard backstroke with a times of 1:01.61 and 2:15.45, respectively. Oktavec was also a member of the 400 yard freestyle team that placed first with a time of 3:48.93 where her split was 56.96. As a member of the 200 yard medley relay team that finished second, her split was 29.41 while her team finished with a time of 1:56.12.
January 29, 2018 Samantha Glish-Wilmington In a dual meet with John Carroll, Glish won both the 50-meter freestyle (28.07) and the 100-meter freestyle (1:02.54) with season-best times in both events. Her time in the 50-meter freestyle is currently the fourth-best time in the OAC this season.
January 22, 2018 Kierra Watson-Ohio Northern In ONU's two meets last week, Watson posted six wins. In a victory over Baldwin Wallace, Watson helped the 200 medley relay team take first place in 1:55.72. and took home victories in the 50 free in :26.32 and the 100 back in 1:02.91. In a win over Oberlin, Watson won the 100 back in 1:03.65 and the 200 back in 2:17.15 and teamed up with the 400 medley relay team to take first place in 4:18.87.
January 15, 2018 Sydney Veon, Ohio Northern Veon led the Polar Bears in a 160-120 win over Mount Union on Sunday afternoon, posting victories in four events. Veon won the 100 breast in 1:08.63 and the 50 free in :25.66 and the 100 free in :56.56. Veon was also part of the winning 200-meter medley relay team.
December 11, 2017 Lauren Oktavec, Mount Union Oktavec recorded two wins to led the Purple Raiders against St. Vincent (Pa.) last week. Oktavec won the 50 yard backstroke with a time of 29.70 and the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:16.50.
December 4, 2017 Gwyn Ledrick, John Carroll Ledrick helped the Blue Streaks repeat as the Blue Devil Invite champions with two first place finsihes. Ledrick won the 100 breastroke (1:06.39) and set the school record in the 200 breaststroke (2:22.65). She also swam on the first place 200 medley relay (1:50.84).
November 20, 2017 Kierra Watson-Ohio Northern Watson won the 100 back in 1:04.19 and the 200 back in 2:20.17 to lead the Polar Bears to a win over Wittenberg last week. Wastson also finished third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:24.52.
November 13, 2017 Carmen Ferrante, John Carroll Ferrante helped the Blue Streaks to a win over Ohio Northrn by taking first place in the 100 freestyle (55.2) and second place in the 200 freestyle (02:01.4). She swam the fouth leg on the winning 400 free relay (3:45.58, 55.75). This is the second time Ferrante has earned athlete of the week honors this season.
November 6, 2017 Carly Adams, John Carroll Adams won two indivdual events to help lead the Blue Streaks past Mount Union. She captured first in both the 100 and 200 backstroke and swam the backstroke leg on the winning 400 Medley Relay.
October 30, 2017 Carmen Ferrante, John Carroll errante won two individual events and one relay to help the Blue Streaks to a win over Div. III Ashland. Ferrante won the 100 breaststroke (01:10.1), 200 breaststroke 02:33.3 and swam breaststroke leg on the first place 200 medley relay.
October 23, 2017 Dana Lautenschleger, Mount Union Against Malone, Lautenschleger won the 1000 yard freestyle (11:00.04), 500 yard freestyle (5:23.84), and was the anchor of the 200 yard freestyle relay where the team swam a 1:45.60 with her split being 25.74. -Versus Hiram, Lautenschleger won as a member of the 200 yard medley relay where the team swam in 1:57.62 while she led off the race with a split of 29.16, and a member of the 400 yard freestyle relay (4:02.14) with a split of 27.81. She also won the 200 yard freestyle (2:01.80) and 100 yard freestyle (57.85).

January 9, 2017 Allie Thorson, Baldwin Wallace Thorson won the 500-yard freestyle and was the runner-up in the 100-yard individual medley in BW's loss to Widener (Pa.) University last Friday during its annual Florida training trip. She captured the 500-free with a time of 5:29.45 and placed second in the 100-IM with a career-best time of 1:06.41.
December 5, 2016 Ally Roskos, Manchester Roskos won the Illinois Tech Ted Eriksen Invitational five and six dive one-meter competitions with 356.9 points combined to defeat the field by more than 50 points. She tallied 208.4 points in her six dives and 148.5 points in her five dive.
November 21, 2016 Elise Pichola, Mount Union Pichola won three events to help lead the Purple Raiders past Baldwin Wallace last week. Pichola placed first in the 50 yard freestyle (26.04), the 100 yard freestyle (56.68) and was part of the winning the 400 yard medley relay (4:15.97)
November 14, 2016 Maddie Dolce, John Carroll Dolce helped the Blue Streaks defeat Ohio Wesleyan for the fifth consecutive time with three first place finishes. Dolce touched first in the 1000 freestyle by over 24 seconds (11:08.5), the 200 backstroke by over six second (2:15.7) and was part of the winning 400 free relay (3:48.4).
November 7, 2016 Carly Adams, John Carroll Adams contributed 38 points and four victories as JCU defeated Mount Union. She finished first in the 400 IM with a time of 4:47.3, first in the 200 back with a time of 2:10.4 and finished first in the 100 back with a time of 1:01.0. Adams also swam the backstroke leg of the 200 Medley Relay.
October 31, 2016 Jenna Latsko, John Carroll Latsko won three events to help the Blue Steaks post a 223-73 win over Ohio Northern. Latsko touched first in the 100 breast in 01:08.6, the 200 breast in 02:28.6 and the 200 IM in 02:14.4.

Against Hiram, Fano was part of the winning 200 meter medley relay (2:12.4) and 200 meter free relay (2:00.5) and touched second in the 200 meter freestyle (2:21.5). Fano took first in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:30.6) and was a member of the winning 200 yard medley relay (1:51.7) and 200 free relay (1:45.6) at home against Baldwin Wallace. January 18, 2016 Dana Lautenschleger, Mount Union Mount Union sophomore Dana Lautenschleger (Solon/Solon) led the Purple Raiders in their win against Ohio Northern and their loss against Wooster. She won the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:54.85 and the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:19.27 in the loss against Wooster. Lautenschleger helped the Raiders defeat Ohio Northern for the first time since 2001-02 season by winning the 200 yard freestyle (2:00.25) and the 200 yard backstroke (2:11.31). December 7, 2015 Dana Lautenschleger, Mount Union Mount Union sophomore Dana Lautenschleger (Solon) led the Purple Raiders to fourth place at the College of Wooster Invitational. Lautenschleger placed first in the 500 yard freestyle (5:05.47). She also won and broke the school record in the 1000 yard freestyle (10:31.3) and the 1650 yard freestyle (17:27.0).Lautenschleger was also a part of the first place 200 yard medley relay and the 400 yard medley. December 8, 2014 Jill Chapman, Ohio Northern Ohio Northern sophomore Jill Chapman (Sandusky/Perkins) set four school records and surpassed the NCAA "B" Cut in two events to lead the Polar Bears to a seventh place finish at The College of Wooster Invitational. She finished third in the 100 free in a school record time of :52.27, breaking the previous mark set in 1988. Chapman won the 50 free in :23.22, setting a meet record, the school record set in 2009 and surpassing the NCAA "B" Cut. Chapman also swam the anchor leg of the 200 free relay, which finished second, setting a school record and reaching the NCAA “B” cut with a time of 1:35.89. Chapman also anchored the 200-yard medley relay team that won in a school record time of 1:46.71.
