Jill Chapman, Ohio Northern

 

Ohio Northern sophomore Jill Chapman (Sandusky/Perkins) set four school records and surpassed the NCAA "B" Cut in two events to lead the Polar Bears to a seventh place finish at The College of Wooster Invitational. She finished third in the 100 free in a school record time of :52.27, breaking the previous mark set in 1988. Chapman won the 50 free in :23.22, setting a meet record, the school record set in 2009 and surpassing the NCAA "B" Cut. Chapman also swam the anchor leg of the 200 free relay, which finished second, setting a school record and reaching the NCAA “B” cut with a time of 1:35.89. Chapman also anchored the 200-yard medley relay team that won in a school record time of 1:46.71.
