Thorson won the 500-yard freestyle and was the runner-up in the 100-yard individual medley in BW's loss to Widener (Pa.) University last Friday during its annual Florida training trip.   She captured the 500-free with a time of 5:29.45 and placed second in the 100-IM with a career-best time of 1:06.41.
