September 8, 2021 Shane Murphy, Capital Murphy took home medalist honors this past weekend at the Gatorade Collegiate Invite hosted by the College of Wooster at Zoar Village Golf Course. Murphy carded the program's second and fourth lowest scores in history. At the end of round one, Murphy submitted a score of 70 and followed it up on Championship Sunday with a 68 to finish six under par, 138.

Peck opened the match with six birdies on the first 12 holes, earning a 5 and 4 victory and then earned a 2 and 1 victory over Capital's Ryan Czerniakowski in Sunday's championship matchup.

The tournament was decided by a scorecard playoff where Iovino emerged as the winner on the fourth hole. The Crusaders finished 2nd in the four team field.
