Wayt and Murphy Earn CSC Academic All-America Honors

AUSTIN, Texas – Two Ohio Athletic Conference women’s cross country/track & field student-athletes earned 2023-24 College Sport Communicators Academic All-America teams.

Mount Union’s Kenadee Wayt lands on the CSC Academic All-America first team. Wayt, a Physician Assistant Studies grad student with a 4.0 grade-point average earns her third All-American honor from CSC.

Hope Murphy from Baldwin Wallace was named to the second team for the second consecutive year. Murphy finished her college career with a 3.94 grade-point average in hospitality & tourism management and marketing.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at his current institution and be nominated by his sports information director.
 
Since the program's inception in 1952, CoSIDA has bestowed Academic All-America honors on more than 15,000 student-athletes in Divisions I, II, III and NAIA, covering all NCAA championship sports.
