Otterbein's Bella Shivley Voted CoSIDA Academic All-America of the Year, Earl and ONU's Catrine land on Second Team

Otterbein's Bella Shivley headlines the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-America Division III Women's Soccer teams selected by the College Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA) and announced on July 7. Teammate Delaney Earl and Ohio Northern's Kristy Catrine land on the second team. 

Shivley (New Albany, Ohio/St. Francis DeSales) graduated in May with a 3.92 GPA as a nursing major and has been voted Academic All-America of the Year. Shivley earned second team accoladed in 2019. Shivley is a three-time OAC Midfielder of the Year honoree and a two-time United Soccer Coaches All-America selection. This season, she led the Cardinals to their 11 th OAC title since 2002 with eight goals and 11 assists for 27 points in 11 games. 

Otterbein junior Delany Earl (Lewis Center, Ohio / Olentangy Orange) garnered second-team honors with a 3.76 GPA majoring in business administration and marketing. Earl, a three-time All-OAC selection, was named OAC Forward of the Year and helped guide the Cardinals to two OAC titles this spring. 

Ohio Northern junior Kristy Catrine (Springboro, Ohio / Springboro) was voted second team with a 3.94 GPA as a pharmancy major. Catrine was voted OAC Goalkeeper of the Year. She allowed only one goal this season and set the ONU school record with a scoreless streak of 1,010 minutes. ONU won a share of the OAC Regular-Season title this spring.
