DEF-Otterbein sophomore midfielder Annie Kelly (Danville, CA/Monte Vista) turned in an impressive performance in the Cardinals 15-8 win over Calvin with one goal, one assist, three draw controls and game-highs of eight ground balls and three caused turnovers.

OFF-Baldwin Wallace freshman midfielder Sierra Thomas (Medina) scored five goals and grabbing eight ground balls to lead the Yellow Jackets past Lourdes University, 19-1, in their season-opener.

3.10.14

OFF-Capital freshman Korri Titus (Pickerington/Pickerington North) tallied five goals, four unassisted, to help the Crusaders to as 11-8 win over Calvin (Mich.) Titus also pickup two ground balls and three draws. On the season, Titus currently leads the team in points (11), goals (9), and is second in assists (2).

DEF-Capital freshman guard Maddie Wilson (Chagrin Falls) picked up her second victory of the season in an 11-8 win over Calvin (Mich.). Wilson posted 13 saves, picked two ground balls and caused two turnovers.

3.17.14

OFF-Mount Union sophomore Katharine Doraty (Media) combined for 10 points, seven goals, and three assists, to help the Purple Raiders defeat Hiram and Kenyon. She had five goals in the 23-2 victory against Hiram and set a new school record when she scored the opening goal in nine seconds in a 13-6 victory over undefeated Kenyon.

DEF-Mount Union sophomore Kolbie Haines (Hudson) had back-to-back hat tricks in wins over Hiram (23-2) and undefeated Kenyon (13-6) and tallied three forced turnovers and five groundballs. She is third on the team with groundballs and is fourth on the team with eight points.

OFF- Baldwin Wallace freshman midfielder Sierra Thomas (Medina) tallied 13 goals and five assists to lead BW past Div. II Walsh, St. Vincent College (Pa.) and Div. II Ursuline last week.  Thomas also had 12 ground balls and 15 draw controls.

OFF- Otterbein freshman midfielder Maddie Blackburn (Portsmouth, RI) led the Cardinals past Beloit, Olivet, Augsburg and Illinois Tech last week with an impressive 21 points. Blackburn averaged 5.25 goals and 1. 5 assists-per-game and had total of 19 draw controls. She scored a season-high five goals against Olivet and won 7 draw controls against both Augsburg and IIlinois Tech.

DEF- Otterbein senior midfielder Kayle Quinter (Piqua) was a key member of the Cardinals’ defense that held their opponents to just eight goals over four games. On the week, Quinter picked up 14 ground balls, caused six turnovers and won 17 draw controls.

3.31.14

OFF-Capital freshman goalie Maddie Wilson (Chagrin Falls/Chagrin Falls High School) led the Crusaders to a 2-0 record. Wilson allowed just eight goals on 24 shots (.667) as Capital defeated Franciscan (12-6) and Bethany (17-2).

DEF-Baldwin Wallace freshman midfielder Maddie Russell (Lakewood/Ricky River High School) scored seven goals and racked up five assists (12 points).

4.7.14

OFF-Baldwin Wallace freshman midfielder Sierra Thomas (Medina) tallied 12 goals and two assists last week. Thomas scored six goals and added two assists in a 19-2 victory against Hiram College and had six more in a 19-15 win against The College of Wooster.

DEF-Capital freshman midfielder Shannon Walton (Fairview Park/Magnificat/) led the Crusaders in ground balls with eight and caused turnovers with five and tied for a team high with seven draw controls in Capital's 21-8 victory over Hilbert (N.Y.) on Saturday. Walton also registered three goals and two assists on the offensive end.

OFF-Mount Union sophomore attack Katherine Doraty (Medina) helped the Purple Raiders to a 2-0 record last week with 3.5 goals and four assists-per-game, including a career high six goals and nine points in 14-4 win over Capital for the programs’ first-ever OAC victory.

DEF-Mount Union sophomore goalkeeper Casey McHenry (Hudon/) was the winning goalie in both the Purple Raiders’ 18-3 win at Washington & Jefferson and 14-4 win against Capital. McHenry faced four shots and allowed just one goal.

4.21.14

OFF-Otterbein sophomore Annie Kelly (Danville, Calif./ Monte Vista) posted four goals, six assists, 18 ground balls, 13 draw controls and six caused turnovers to lead the Cardinals to a 2-0 record last week. The Cardinals came from behind to beat Baldwin Wallace, 14-13, as Kelly scored the game-winner with 1:09 remaining. The team finished off the week with a 9-7 win over Capital.

DEF-Otterbein senior Kayle Quinter (Piqua) tallied 11 ground balls, caused eight turnovers and won seven draw controls to help the Cardinals to a 2-0 record on the week with wins over Baldwin Wallace and Capital. She corralled a key ground ball in the final minute on Saturday to help preserve the victory over Capital.

4.28.15

OFF-Baldwin Wallace senior Colleen Bodkin (East Aurora, N.Y. / East Aurora) scored four goals, had one assist, five ground balls and five forced turnovers to help the Yellow Jackets to 2-0 record on the week.  Bodkin scored the game-winner in an 11-10 win over Mount Union and lead BW to a 13-12 win over Capital to clinch the No. 2 seed in the OAC Tournament.

DEF-Capital freshman Shannon Walton (Fairview Park) was a force on both the offensive and defensive ends for the Crusaders in a pair of games last week. Against Ursuline, she tallied four goals, two ground balls, a draw control and two caused turnovers in a 14-3 victory. In the regular season finale on Saturday against Baldwin Wallace, Walton scored two goals and added two assists, a team-high six ground balls, one draw control and four caused turnovers.
