| CoSIDA Academic All-District Selections |

Otterbein senior Katrina Wierzbicki (Powell/Bishop Watterson) and Mount Union sophomore Grace Heath (Beloit / West Branch) have landed on the 2021 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Softball team, announced Thursday, July 1. Just 12 were selcted in District 7, which includes Ohio, Illinois and Indiana. 

Wierzbicki graduated in May with a 3.97 GPA in biochemistry and molecular biology and was a four year standout for the Cardinals. 

Heath carries a 3.94 GPA as an accounting and finance major and was named the OAC Player of the Year and earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region and All-America accolades.

As first-team Academic All-District honorees, the pair will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. Academic All-America honorees will be announced in late July.
