Marietta sophomore Kristina LaRocca (Strasburg/Franklin) threw two complete games last week earning a pair of pitching victories. She did not allow an earned run in 14 innings of work and gave up just one extra base hit as opponents batted .167 against her. At Capital, LaRocca scattered four hits and struck out two in Marietta's 4-1 win. She followed that with another four-hit outing, all singles, in the Pioneer's 8-1 victory over Wilmington.
