Mount Union Men's and Women's Track & Field Win OAC Championships

BEREA, Ohio – Mount Union’s men’s and women’s track & field teams captured the 2023 Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at the Harrison Dillard Track inside the Lou Higgins Center Fieldhouse on the campus of Baldwin Wallace University.

Women

Mount Union's women's track and field team won its second straight and ninth overall team title. The Purple Raiders won nine of the 19 events and scored 221.5 points. John Carroll finished in second place with 154.5 points, followed by Ohio Northern (112), Baldwin Wallace (89), Capital (48), Otterbein (39), Heidelberg (28), Marietta (23), Muskingum (23), and Wilmington (3).

Men

Mount Union men's track and field team won its 11th straight and record 42nd overall team title. The Purple Raiders won eight of the 19 events and scored 243 points. John Carroll placed second with 140 points, followed by Ohio Northern (90 points) Otterbein (73), Wilmington (60), Baldwin Wallace (46), Capital (30.5), Marietta (29.5), Heidelberg (20), and Muskingum (9).
