Fickas led the Cardinals to a 1-1 week in road matches at Franciscan and No. 20 Kenyon. He won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles and paired with freshman Sanjan Shanker to win 7-6 (7-3) in a tiebreaker at No. 1 doubles in a 7-0 win at Franciscan. In a 7-0 loss at No. 20 Kenyon, he fell 0-6, 1-6 at No. 1 singles and dropped a 1-6 match with sophomore Nikita Kitaev at No. 1 doubles to close out the week at 2-2 overall.
