Baldwin Wallace senior wrestler Jesse Gunter (Akron/ Coventry) and senior tennis player Doug Ganim (Westerville/Olentangy Orange) have been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Division III Academic All-America At-Large second-team.
Gunter advanced to the national ballot after he was selected as first-team CoSIDA Division III Academic All-District 7. Gunter was a education major with a 3.45.
This season, Gunter compiled a 36-4 overall record. The Yellow Jackets were a perfect 5-0 in OAC competition and claimed their first OAC title since 1973. BW also placed an all-time best second at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Tournament.
Ganim advanced to the national ballot after he was selected as first-team CoSIDA Division III Academic All-District 7. Ganim is a finace major with a 3.78 grade point average. This season, Ganim played No.2 singles and No.1 doubles and had a 25-5 singles mark and a 24-8 doubles record. He helped to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 24-5 overall and 7-1 OAC record and advance to the OAC Championship match.
