John Carroll Men Win Eighth Consecutive OAC Swimming & Diving Championship

CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL | FINAL RESULTS

 

AKRON, OH – The John Carroll men’s swimming & diving team captured the 2024 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship for the eighth straight year and 21st of all-time.

The Blue Streaks totaled 876.5 points over the four-day event. Mount Union placed second with 690 points, Ohio Northern finished third with 687 points, Baldwin Wallace finished fourth with 432.5 points, Wilmington placed fifth with 332 points, and Heidelberg finished with 9 points in its first year competing.

John Carroll graduate student Forrest Campbell earned OAC Most Outstanding Swimmer for the second time in his career. A Blue Streak has won the honor for six straight years. 

Ohio Northern junior Holden Cubberley swept the diving competitions and earned the OAC Most Outstanding Diver award for the third consecutive year.

John Carroll fourth year head coach Tanner Barton and his team were also awarded as the Most Outstanding Men’s Coaching Staff. Barton and his staff of Lewis Fellinger, Ian Bishop, Larissa Czupik, Taylor Epstein, and Westin Fishel have won this award for the sixth consecutive year.
