ONU's Cubberley and JCU's Meunier named OAC Divers of the Month

Ohio Northern junior Holden Cubberley and John Carroll junior Annie Meunier have been named Ohio Athletic Conference Divers of the Month for October.

Cubberley

Cubberley won five of the six diving events he competed in during the month of October.

  • At the Bethel (Ind.) Tr-Meet on Oct. 14, Cubberley won the 3-meter diving with 242.55 points and was fourth in the 1-meter diving with 212.90 points.
  • Against Heidelberg on Oct. 27, he won the 1-meter diving with 300.07 points and the 3-meter diving with 289.87 points.
  • Against John Carroll on Oct. 28, he won the 1-meter diving with 299.15 points and the 3-meter diving with 279.90 points.

A two-time OAC Diver of the Year and four-time OAC champion, Cubberley holds the school records for 1-meter diving for six dives (328.35) and 11 dives (524.35) and for 3-meter diving for 11 dives (527.30). This marks Cubberley's fourth career OAC Diver of the Month accolade.

 

Meunier

Meunier helped John Carroll diving keep their undefeated streak alive in October, leading the Blue Streaks in both dual meets during the month. 

Against Westminster College, Meunier made the podium twice, tallying second place in 1 Meter Diving events with scores of 201.90 and 157.88.

Against Ohio Northern, Meunier took home two first place finishes. She scored 219.80 on the 1 Meter board and 185.00 on the 3 Meter board.
