ONU's Cubberley and JCU's Meunier repeat as OAC Divers of the Month

Ohio Northern junior Holden Cubberley and John Carroll junior Annie Meunier have been named Ohio Athletic Conference Divers of the Month for the second straight month.

Cubberley

Cubberley swept diving events at the Calvin (Mich.) Quad Meet on Nov. 3-4, finishing first of nine in the 1-meter competition with 501.37 points and first of seven in the 3-meter competition with 463.80 points.

At the Wabash (Ind.) Invitational on Nov. 17-19, he placed fifth of 10 in the 1-meter competition with 451 points and fifth of 10 in the 3-meter competition with 469.10 points.

A two-time OAC Diver of the Year and four-time OAC champion, Cubberley holds the school records for 1-meter diving for six dives (328.35) and 11 dives (524.35) and for 3-meter diving for 11 dives (527.30). This is Cubberley's fifth career OAC Diver of the Month accolade.

 

Meunier

Meunier helped John Carroll defeat Mount Union, taking first place in both the 1 and 3 Meter diving. She scored 231.91 in 1 Meter diving and 184.35 on the 3 Meter board. 

Meunier also dove in the tri-meet against Notre Dame College and Oberlin College, earning first place in both 1 and 3 meter diving this past Friday, scoring a 223.57 and 199.50, respectively.

This is Meunier's second career OAC Diver of the Month accolade.
