DEF-John Carroll sophomore defenseman (LSM) Jack MacLean (Bloomfield Hills/Mich./Detroit Country Day) led the Blue Streak defense last week with 13 (6.5 per game) ground balls and two forces turnovers. JCU finished the week with wins over Concordia (9-7) and Trine (11-6).

OFF-John Carroll freshman midfielder Gary Anile (Louisville) led the Blue Streaks to a 2-0 record last week with hat tricks against both Concordia (9-7) and Trine (11-6).

OFF-Otterbein senior attackman Mikey O’Neal (Sunrise, Fla./New Knoxville) turned in an impressive performance last week, helping the Cardinals to a 16-8 victory at The College of Mount St. Joseph. O'Neal tied the Otterbein single-game scoring record with eight points, netting four goals and assisting on four others.
DEF-Capital freshman defenseman Tate Stover (Delaware/Olentangy) helped the Crusaders to a 13-4 victory over Franciscan. Stover caused five turnovers and tallied one ground ball. In addition, Stover played a key role in the Crusaders defense holding the Barons to a 43-minute scoring drought, as they did not allow a goal until late in the third quarter.

OFF-Mount Union sophomore Michael Taylor (Broadview Hts./Brecksville-Broadview Hts) had a team-high three goals and four points in the Purple Raiders Union's win at Thiel (Pa.) last week. For the season, Taylor leads the Purple Raiders with eight goals, four assists and 12 points.

DEF-Otterbein senior midfielder Drew Watson (Pickerington/Central) collected six ground balls and caused one turnover in the Cardinals 12-4 win over Thiel (Pa.). Watson was part of the man-down unit that was able to successfully kill 12 penalties. He also helped the team go a perfect 21-of-21 on clear attempts.

OFF-Capital freshman midfielder Brent Walton (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington Central) led the Crusader’s offense in a 7-5 win over Siena Heights (Mich.) with three goals, three assists and three ground balls. Walton currently leads the Crusaders with 12 points (six goals, six assists) for the season.

DEF-Capital freshman Tate Stover (Delaware, Ohio/Olentangy) led the Crusader’s defense in a 7-5 win over Siena Heights (Mich.). Stover posted 10 caused turnovers and four ground balls. Capital forced 27 turnovers and held a 32-24 advantage in ground balls.

OFF-John Carroll freshman Michael Roth (Clarence, NY) led the Blue Streaks to win a 10-8 win over Thiel and 6-4 win over Transylvania with a three goals and four assists on the week.  

DEF-Mount Union sophomore Collin Peters (Portland, Ore./Sunset) helped the Purple Raiders to a 2-0 record last week. Peters had three saves on six shots with a pair of ground balls in a 16-3 win over Hiram. Against Trine, Peters has 17 saves on 22 shots with a pair of ground ball in 6-5 win.

OFF-John Carroll freshman attacker Stephen Leous (Buffalo, NY/Canisius High School) scored seven goals and added an assist (eight points) while leading the Blue Streaks to a victory over Franciscan (24-3) on Wednesday.

DEF-Capital freshman midfielder Michael Trefethern (Canfield/Cardinal Mooney High) corralled 15 ground balls while leading the Crusaders to victories over Hiram (8-3) and Franciscan (20-8) this past week.

OFF-Baldwin Wallace sophomore attack Vinny Carson (Cleveland/ Benedictine) helped the Yellow Jackets to a 1-1 record last week with five goals and seven assists. He had one assists in an 11-4 loss at St. Vincent (Pa.) College and followed it up with a career-high five goals and had a game-best six assists in a 17-9 victory at Calvin (Mich.) College.

DEF-Otterbein sophomore face-off specialist CarlosSalazar (Wooster) helped the Cardinals tally a pair of victories over The College of Wooster and Saint Vincent College last week. Salazar won 12 of his 17 faceoffs against Wooster, allowing Otterbein to retain possession throughout and earn an 8-6 win. Against Saint Vincent he went a near-perfect 12 of 13 and collected seven ground balls to help the Cardinals to a 41-20 win.

OFF-Mount Union freshman Chris Daley (Wilmington, Del./Dupont) led the Purple Raiders to a pair of wins, including their first-ever OAC win against Capital. Daley collected four goals, two assists and forced one turnover in Mount Union’s 12-4 win against Franciscan and 9-1 win over Capital.

DEF-Mount Union sophomore midfielder Andrew Rosati (Streetsboro/WalshJesuit) won 12 of 17 (.710) faceoffs last week to help the Purple Raiders to a 12-4 win over Franciscan and a 9-1 victory against Capital.

DEF-Baldwin Wallace sophomore goalie Jake Harders (Rocky River/St. Edward) collected 11 saves and allowed just three goals as the Yellow Jackets won their first-ever OAC match with a 15-3 victory at Wilmington last Saturday. Harders faced 23 shots, including 14 on-goal, and improved to 6-3 overall.

OFF-Otterbein senior Mikey O'Neal (Sunrise, Fla./New Knoxville) averaged 4.5 assists-per-game last week to help the Cardinals to 12-5 win at Baldwin Wallace and 17-6 win at Capital. His six assists against Capital set a new school single-game record. O’Neal also had two ground ball and one forced turnover on the week.

DEF-Otterbein sophomore faceoff specialist Carlos Salzar (Wooster) won 17 of 19 faceoffs against Baldwin Wallace and 14 of 21 faceoffs at Capital on his way to13 total ground balls to help the Cardinals to a 2-0 record on the week.

OFF-Mount Union sophomore goalkeeper Colin Peters (Portland Ore./Sunset) posted a .650 save percentage to help lead the Purple Raiders to a 1-1 record last week including a 10-5 win over Baldwin Wallace. Peters faced 35 shots and posted 19 saves on the week.

DEF-John Carroll freshman Declan O’Grady (Mason/William Mason) tallied 11 goals on just 13 shots to lead the Blue Streaks to 2-0 record last week. O’Grady posted four goals in a 9-4 win over Capital and six goals in an 18-6 win against Wilmington. He is currently the OAC leader in goals with 39 on the season.
