Westerville, OH - Mount Union and John Carroll have been tabbed as the favorites in preseason voting by the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) men's basketball coaches.

Mount Union and John Carroll tallied 77 points (five first-place votes) each, followed by Marietta with 63 points, Otterbein with 54 points, and Heidelberg with 53 points.

Mount Union is coming off a successful 2022-23 season, winning both the OAC Regular-Season and Tournament titles and making an appearance in the National Championship game for the first time in program history. John Carroll clinched the OAC Regular Season title for the 12th time in program history and ended last season with a loss in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
