OFF: John Carroll junior quarterback Mark Myers (Pepper Pike/St. Ignatius) was 26-of-41 for 526 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Blue Streaks to a 41-0 victory of St. Norbert College (WI). Myers passing total eclipsed his school record single game total of 474 yards set against Muskingum on October 13, 2012.

DEF: Ohio Northern senior cornerback Ryan Reid (Cincinnati/Princeton)led the Polar Bear defense with three tackles and two interceptions. Reid returned one of the interceptions 35 yards for a touchdown to help ONU to a 55-0 win over Alfred State (NY).

ST: Heidelberg sophomore punt returnerRyan Fischer (Bradenton, Fla./Braden River)returned three punts for a total of 101 yards, including a 71 yard return for a touchdown in the Berg’s 52-7 win over Alma.

OFF: Baldwin Wallace junior quarterbackMichael Slack (Casselberry Fla./PineCastle Christian Academy) completed 12-of-15 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a game-high 102 yards in his first collegiate start. The Yellow Jackets defeated Bluffton 52-21.

DEF: Baldwin Wallace senior linebackerDavid Flegal (Akron/Richfield Revere) had a game and career-high 12 tackles, including one for a loss in the Yellow Jackets 52-21 win over Bluffton.

ST: Baldwin Wallace senior placekickerChris Mohler (Kent/Roosevelt) made all seven of his PAT kicks and connected on a 24-yard field goal to score 10 points in the Yellow Jackets 52-21 win over Bluffton.

OFF: Heidelberg junior quarterback Michael Mees (North Ridgeville) completed 13-of 24 passes for 304 yard notched four touchdowns in the Bergs 55-27 win over Ohio Northern.

DEF: John Carroll senior linebacker Mitch Krotz (Madison) led the Blue Streak defense with 15 tackles including, seven solo and 3.5 tackles for loss in a 27-7 win over Baldwin Wallace. Krotz also forced a fumble.

 

ST: John Carroll junior placekicker Kresimir Ivkovic (Euclid/Lake Catholic) connected on of field goals of 28 yards and a career–long 45 yards and made all three PATs in the Blue Streak 27-7 win over Baldwin Wallace.

OFF: Heidelberg junior wide receiverDonteea Dye (Fairfield) shined in the Berg’s 66-12 win over Wilmington with 131 yards on six receptions with a long of 48 yards and two touchdowns.

 

DEF: Baldwin Wallace junior linebackerDan O’Brien (Warren/Howland) tallied seven tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss in the Yellow Jackets 23-13 win over Muskingum. He also had a quarterback sack, intercepted a pass and both forced and recovered a fumble that he returned 21 yards.

 

ST: Baldwin Wallace senior punter Matt Harmon (Canfield) averaged 46.1 yards in seven attempts in a 23-13 victory against Muskingum. Harmon booted a season-long 61-yarder and had three punts landed inside the Muskingum 20-yard line.

OFF: Heidelberg junior quarterbackMichael Mees (North Ridgeville) threw a career-high five touchdowns on 13-of-18 passes for 180 yards in just the first half of the Berg’s 68-17 win over Marietta. Mees’ 13 completions were to eight different receivers.

OFF: Offensive- Wilmington sophomore wide receiver Jeremy Duncan (Cincinnati/Moeller) set a conference single-game record of 327 yards on just eight catches with three touchdowns in the Quakers 35-28 loss to Muskingum. The previous record stood at 322 receiving yards set by Heidelberg’s Ryan Pifer in 1997.

 

DEF: John Carroll senior linebacker Matt Feeney (Dublin/Bishop Ready) led the Blue Streak defense in a 54-0 win over Capital with 10 tackles, one tackle for loss and two interceptions. Feeney’s first interception led to JCU’s third touchdown. JCU’s defense held Capital to just 185 total yards.

 

ST: Muskingum freshman punter Samuel Green (Lancaster/Fairfield Union) averaged 43.8 yards in six attempts in a 35-28 victory over Wilmington. Green’s longest punt of game was 54 yards and had two punts landed inside the Wilmington 20-yard line.

OFF: Baldwin Wallace wide receiver Josiah Holt (Elyria/ Grafton Midview) recorded 234 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns in the Yellow Jackets 38-17 victory against Ohio Northern. Holt rushed for a career-high 184 yards on 15 attempts (12.3-yds per carry) with touchdown runs of 72, 56 and 5 yards. Holt also caught three passes for 50 yards.

 

DEF: Baldwin Wallace junior defensive end Luke Riemenschneider (Rocky River) had nine tackles, three quarterback sacks for a loss of 23 yards and forced and recovered a fumble in the Yellow Jackets 38-17 win over Ohio Northern.

 

ST: John Carroll junior linebacker Choe Samba (Aurora) blocked a punt to set the Blue Streaks up for their third touchdown and returned an interception 77 yards for a touchdown in a 62-7 win over Marietta.

OFF: Heidelberg junior running backCartel Brooks (Mansfield/Galion) rushed for a school single-game record of 337 yards on 39 attempts and a school-record five touchdowns in a 35-17 win over Otterbein. Brooks 337 rushing yards ranks sixth in OAC Record Book.

 

DEF: John Carroll junior defensive back Brody Zangaro (Pittsburgh, PA/North Hills) tallied seven tackles and returned an interception 52 yards for a touchdown in the Blue Streaks 41-9 win over Muskingum.

 

ST: Ohio Northern senior punt returner Ryan Malone (Colorado Springs, Colo./Beavercreek) returned a punt 72 yards for a touchdown and caught a 44-yard touchdown pass to help the Polar Bears to a 45-0 win over Marietta. Malone finished the day with 140 yards of total offense.

OFF: Heidelberg junior running backCartel Brooks (Mansfield/Galion) rushed for 155 yards on 19 carries with a long of 49 yards and two touchdowns. Brooks collected two receptions for 80 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Berg to a 49-21 win over Muskingum. On the day, Brooks recorded 235 yards of total offense.

 

DEF: John Carroll junior linebackerJimmy King (Thompson/Lake Catholic) tallied ten tackles, two tackles for loss (five yards) and returned a blocked punt for a touchdown to help the Blue Streaks to a 47-0 win over Ohio Northern. JCU posted its fourth shutout of the year.

 

ST: John Carroll junior kicker Kresimir Ivkovic (Euclid/Lake Catholic) helped the Blue Streaks to a 47-0 win over Ohio Northern with five of his nine kickoffs as touchbacks. He was four-of-five on field goals and five-of-five on PAT.

OFF:John Carroll junior quarterback Mark Myers (Pepper Pike/St. Ignatius) completed an impressive 22-of-26 passes for 363 yards and five touchdowns in the Blue Streaks 63-3 win over Wilmington. Meyer has now surpassed 5,000 career yards in just 17 games.

 

DEF: Baldwin Wallace senior linebacker David Flegal (Akron/Richfield) tallied a career-high 18 tackles in the Yellow Jackets 31-7 win over Marietta, for their fourth straight victory.

 

ST: Ohio Northern sophomore kick returner Devon Price (Toledo/Start) returned the second half kickoff 84 yards for a touchdown in the Polar Bears 49-7 win at Muskingum. Price also had a 35 yard kickoff return in the fourth quarter.

OFF: Ohio Northern junior quarterbackPatrick Angle (Logan) completed 21-of-26 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns and ran 10 times for 32 yards and another touchdown to lead the Polar Bears to a 52-10 win at Wilmington.

 

DEF: John Carroll senior linebacker Matt Feeney (Dublin/Columbus Bishop Ready) led the Blue Streak defense with 11 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss of 12 yards and 1.5 sacks for 11 yards in a 48-7 win over nationally-ranked Heidelberg.

 

ST:Otterbein junior defensive backJordan Bonifas (Dublin/Dublin Jerome) returned a blocked field goal attempt 65 yards for a touchdown in the Cardinals 29-21 win over Marietta.
