Clark returned the opening kickoff 90-yards for touchdown in the Pioneers 46-20 win over Muskingum. He also had returns of 36 and 51 yards and carried the ball 16 times for 80 yards and one touchdown. Clark finished the game with 273 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns. Clark also earned Offensive Player of the Week honors on September 10
