Buckhannon posted a top finish in both the Mid-February Open and All-Ohio Indoor Championships. She opened the weekend at the Mid-February Open, where she placed first in the weight throw event with a distance of 53' 9.75". Buckhannon followed that up with a career-best distance of 55' 7.75" in the weight throw, as well as a third-place finish in the shot put event with a final mark of 42' 8.25".
