Three Selected Academic All-District (Women's Track & Field)

Austintown, Ohio-Otterbein senior Hailey Acosta, Baldwin Wallace senior Kelly Brennan and Ohio Northern senior Maggie Krasue have landed on the Div. III Women's Track & Field Academic All-District Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The Academic All-District Teams recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Acosta is a nursing major with a 3.77 GPA, Brennan is an accounting and finance major with a 3.97 GPA and Kruase is a pre-med and biology major with a 3.88 GPA. All three standouts will advance to the Academic All-America ballot. 

To be eligible for Academic All-America consideration, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at his/her current institution and be nominated by their sports information director. Academic All-America selections for baseball/softball will be announced next month.
