Adrian, Mich.-Nineteen qualified for the NCAA Div. III National Championship with a top-three finish in their weight class at the Central Regional Tournament hosted by Adrian College, February 28-29. The top-eight finishers earned All-Region honors.
Baldwin Wallace finished first of out 18 teams with 154.0 points, followed Mount Union in second with 146.0 points, Ohio Northern in fourth with 107.0 points, John Carroll in fifth with 100. 5 points and Otterbein in eighth place with 73 points to round out the top ten.
BW has won two regional titles in the last three years. Head coach Jamie Gibbs and assistant coach Jason Zastrow were named Regional Coach and Assistant Coach-of-the-Year.
The NCAA Div. III Championship will take place March 13-14 at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
