9.9.14

Otterbein sophomore Ann Jobko (Worthington/Bishop Watterson) placed 25th at the Denison Invitational held at the Grandville Golf Course. Jobko shot a 174 (87-87 +32 par) to help the Cardinals tie for seventh place out of 16 teams.

Capital freshman Katie Lease (Hilliard/Hilliard Davidson) tied for eighth place at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational held at the Safari Golf Club. Lease finished with a score of 144 (73-71, +20) to lead the Crusaders to the team title out of nine teams.

Mount Union senior Lexi Scala (Aliquippa, PA/Central Valley) won medalist honors at the Ohio Northern Polar Bear Classic held at the Colonial Golfers Club. Scala fired career-low rounds of 82-82 to finish with a score of 164 (+20). The Purple Raiders finished first out of four teams.

John Carroll junior Jackie Weisenberger (Norwalk/St. Paul) tied for 12th place overall out of 53 golfers and tied for second among Division III golfers at the Allegheny Invitational. Weisenberger shot a169 (87-82, -23 par).

John Carroll junior Jackie Weisenberger (Norwalk/St. Paul) won medalist honors at the Mount Union Fall Invitational held Sunday at the Tannenhauf Golf Club.  Weisenberger shot a 77 (+5 par) to help lead the Blue Streaks to second place finish out of five teams. Weisenberger also placed sixth at the River Greens Invitational held on Monday at the River Greens Golf Course with an 88 (+16). The Blue Streak finished tied for second place out of four teams.

Otterbein senior Kathryn Rogers (Bexley) tied for 24thout of 95 golfers at the Wittenberg Pat Clouse Invitational held at Springfield Country Club. Rogers shot a 173 (87-86/ + 29) to lead the Cardinals to a seventh place finish.

Mount Union senior Lexi Scala (Aliquippa, Pa./Central Valley) finished in eighth place with a 90 (+19 par) at the Phipps Memorial Tournament held at Congress Lake Country Club in Hartville. The Purple Raiders posted a 377 which was behind first place Walsh (334) and second place Malone (360).
