Mount Union's Bill Kirkwood named Women's Golf Coach of the Year

Austintown, Ohio--Mount Union first-year head coach Bill Kirkwood has been voted OAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year by his peers. 

Kirkwood led the Purple Raiders to their fourth straight OAC title with an OAC Tournament record of 993 (54-holes) which was 47 shots ahead of second place Capital.  Four individual placed in the top-14 to earned All-OAC honors, including junior Rachel Markle (Solon, Ohio/Solon) who took home medalist honors.
