Heidelberg senior center Marisa Liburdi (Lapeer, Mich./Lapeer West) averaged 15.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and three blocks-per-game to lead the Berg past John Carroll and Muskingum to open OAC play. Against John Carroll, Liburdi recorded her third double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
