Capital senior forward Kristen Thompson (Cincinnati/Colerain) posted a pair of double-doubles over the weekend to lead the Crusaders to a 2-0 record at the Eastern Mennonite University Tip-Off Classic. She averaged 17.5 points and 13.0 rebounds per game. She also finished with six assists, two blocks and one steal. Thompson possessed the highest field goal percentage at .619 (13-of-21) and was nine-of-12 from the free-throw line.
