John Carroll sophomore forward Katlyn Spahar (Willowick/Lake Catholic) averaged 21 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals-per-game to led the Blue Steaks to a 2-0 record at the College of Wooster Nan Nichols Classic with wins over Kalamazoo and Adrian. In a 58-57 win over Kalamzoo, Spahar scored the winning point on a free-throw and sealed the game with a steal with two second left.
