John Carroll junior guard Katlyn Spahar (Willowick/Lake Catholic) averaged 26 points and eight rebounds-per-game last week to help the Blue Streaks to wins over Baldwin Wallace and Wilmington. Spahar shot 20-of-38 (.642), including three-of-eight from three-point range and was nine-of-12 from the free-throw line. She shot better than 50 percent in both games –the first time since last year's NCAA tournament (vs.Texas Lutheran and Thomas More).
