Carter Hancock (Amherst / Marion L. Steele) has been named a United Soccer Coaches' NCAA Division III First Team All-American.
Hancock played and started in 19 games for the Purple Raiders this season. He was second on the team in goals with nine and led the team in assists with nine and points with 27. Hancock was also recently named First Team All-Region VII by the United Soccer Coaches', was First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference and was the OAC Midfielder of the Year.
Hancock becomes the sixth Purple Raider to earn All-American honors and just the second to get first team honors. He also becomes the first Raider since 1994 to earn All-American honors.
