Ohio Northern junior forward Matt Kinkopf (Hamilton/Cincinnati Christian) led the Polar Bears to a 2-0 record last week, helping ONU defeat Defiance 5-1 and Anderson (Ind.) 5-1. Kinkopf recorded his second hat trick of the year in the victory over Defiance, while also adding one assist. He also scored two goals and recorded one assist in the victory over Anderson (Ind.).
