LOUISVILLE, Kentucky—Freshman Obrigh Tallchief (           Angola, N.Y. / LakeShore) was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association D3 Team of the Week.
 
Tallchief tied two school records this weekend with 15 points and seven assists while also scoring eight goals in a 23-7 win over Thiel (Pa.). Tallchief also had seven ground balls and three caused turnovers.
 
It is the first time in his young career winning the award. This is the second Purple Raider to win the award joining Logan Gebhart last year.
 
The Raiders head to Meadville, Pennsylvania on Wednesday to take on Allegheny with a 7 PM start time and then will host its home opener against Washington and Jefferson on Saturday at 1 PM.
