2023 USILA / Dynamic Team of the Week – Division III – Week of March 6

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2023 Division III Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 7. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.
 
The list of honorees are as follows:
 
-Max Esposito | Attack | Gaithersburg, MD | So. | Concordia Wisconsin
Finished with a career-high nine points with six goals and three assists in CUW's 13-6 victory at Cornell. On Saturday ... Also picked up four ground balls.

-Carson Kiichle | Attack | Vancouver, WA | Sr. | Illinois Wesleyan University
Kiichle matched his career high twice this week with two games with 9 total points, one with 6 goals and 3 assists and the other with 3 goals and 6 assists.

-Ryan Gebhardt | Attack | Baldwinsville, NY | Gr. | MIT
Gebhardt posted seven goals, including two man-up and one man-down, three assists, and two groundballs in a 21-13 win at UMass Boston on Thursday. His performance resulted in him eclipsing the 400 career point mark. Gebhardt followed this up with eight goals and four assists, tying the MIT program record for points in a game for the third time in his career, in a 25-14 victory over Western New England on Sunday. With 415 career points, he currently ranks fourth in Division III and sixth across all NCAA divisions.

-Kyle Farrell | Defense | Holtsville, NY | Sr. | SUNY Morrisville
Farrell played a key role in a 1-1 week for the Mustangs, contributing on both ends of the field as Morrisville split the week's action. In the loss to Geneseo mid-week, Farrell collected eight ground balls, while causing three turnovers. He followed on Sunday with four caused turnovers and nine ground balls in the win over New Paltz. In that same contest, Farrell collected two scores as a long stick, the first off a caused turnover in the second quarter, before netting a 3/4 field length score in the third for his second of the night. He currently leads Morrisville with 22 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers to date on the season.

-Casey Steffen | Defense | Danville, CA | Jr. | Wooster
Averaged 5 groundballs and 4.5 caused turnovers during 2-0 week for Fighting Scots. Helped program to first 4-0 start since 2014. Had 7 groundballs & 5 caused turnovers vs. Capital and followed that up with 4 caused turnovers & 3 groundballs vs. Brockport ... Has caused at least 3 turnovers in all 4 games this year.

-Nick Schroeder | FO | Waunakee, WI | So. | Illinois Wesleyan
Schroeder went 18/29, 16/17 and 31/35 with a total of 1 goal and 35 GBs in 3 games within 5 days.

-Joe Storner | Goalie | Louisville, KY | Sr. | Baldwin Wallace
Allowed only 4 goals in a 10-4 win vs Southern Virginia. Joe had 17 saves with a shutout in the first half. 

-Coby Auslander | Midfield | Pennington, NJ | Sr. | Christopher Newport
Auslander matched Christopher Newport's single-game record with seven assists during a 22-8 win over Catholic on Saturday. He also chipped in with a pair of goals during the game, giving him nine total points. That equaled the sixth-most by a Captain in school history. Along with his work over the weekend, he also had four points in a 19-7 win over Randolph-Macon on Wednesday.

-Dan Aulisi | Midfield | Brick, NJ | Fr. | Delaware Valley
Aulisi led DelVal to a 12-7 win its home opener against Albright on Saturday with a game-high seven points on four goals and three assists. The three assists and seven points were career-bests for the first-year midfielder.

-Charlie Racine | Midfield | Oradell, NJ | So. | Wheaton    
Scored seven goals, to go along with one assist and 13 ground balls.
