UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio -- A record-setting season ends with a pair of program-firsts accolades for John Carroll University Men's Lacrosse.

For the first time in program history, the Blue Streaks garnered two members on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) 2021 Dynamic Division III All-Americans list.

Skyler Blake and Clayton Karam are USILA All-American Honorable Mentions.

Blake and Karam steered the Blue Streaks to a 14-2 season, culminating in an Ohio Athletic Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament apperance. No Blue Streak has ever before garneed USILA recognition, so this honor is a tribute to the duo's outstanding season.

One of the best scoring threats in JCU history, Blake lit up the scoreboard this season. The Dublin, Ohio native led not only the Blue Streaks with 97 goals, but all of the NCAA. The grad student outscored the second-highest Division III goal scorer by 13 goals, and tallied 21 more goals than the USILA Player of the Year.

In addition to his goal scoring prowess, Blake tabbed 16 assists for 113 points, along with 40 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers. The star attacker finishes his career as the program's leader in goals (260), points (352), and goals per game (3.47). All astonishing numbers from an incredible career.

Karam finishes as a supremely talented player on the other side of the game – defense. The LSM topped the team with 83 ground balls and 41 caused turnovers. The senior from Buffalo supplemented his stat line with 4 assists.

Karam is the leading ground ball vacuum in program history with 416, and the program's top turnover machine, causing 148.
