    Caizzo went 5-0 overall on the week and won the 149-pound weight class at the Washington & Lee (Va.) Jim Crytzer Invitational with a 4-0 record. He finished the week with three pins, one tech fall and a major decision.

    Greco went 5-0 overall on the week and won the 165-pound weight class at the Washington & Lee (Va.) Jim Crytzer Invitational with a 4-0 record. He finished the week with two pins and two tech falls.

 

BASKETBALL

Evans averaged 21.7 points across three games played over the holidays (Dec. 23 to Jan. 5) He was named the Most Valuable Player of the Smokey Ballenger Classic after leading the Cardinals to a 2-0 record, averaging 23 points, eight rebounds and four assists per game. Evans also added a team-high 19 points to go with three rebounds and three assists in a 71-63 loss to Mount Union on Saturday.

Irby helped lead the Cardinals to three victories over the holidays (Dec. 23 to Jan. 5), averaging 20 points per game. She was was named the Most Valuable Player of Otterbein's Smoky Ballenger Classic after leading the Cardinals to a 63-48 win over Albion (Mich.) and a 60-56 victory over Oberlin in the event. Irby also added 18 points, including a perfect 3-for-3 showing from beyond the arc, two rebounds, two assists and two steals in a 62-51 win over Mount Union on Jan. 4.
