Murphy competed at the Walsh Tune-up and broke the 16-year-old stadium record time of 2:18.28 and the 11-year-old Walsh Tune-Up meet record time of 2:18.70 with her own time of 2:17.04 in the 800-meter run. She also went on to win the 1500-meter run in a time of 4:41.89 but also breaking NCAA Division II Walsh University's 36-year-old school record (4:46.70), 16-year-old stadium record (4:43.36) and 11-year-old Walsh Tune-Up meet record (4:47.24).
