Mellott hit safely in six of eight games, which generated a six-game hit streak in that time streak. She had two hits in four of those six games. Against Wilmington, Mellott went a combined 4-for-6 with two doubles, one RBI and one walk in a two-game split. Previous to that, she posted two RBIs in a game one win over JCU in which she went 2-for-3 with two doubles in that game. Over the weekend, she finished with a batting average of .500 (10-20), four RBIs, six walks, a slugging percentage of .700 and an on-base percentage of .615.
