John Carroll sophomore Carly Simecek (Solon) helped  the Blue Streaks to a 3-1 record last week, going eight-for-13 (.615) with three doubles, a triple, three runs scored and nine runs batted-in. She has now reached base safely in 15 consecutive. In a sweep of Wilmington, Simecek went six-for-seven with seven runs batted-in, a triple and double.
