Pierce won both the 1-meter (five-dive) and 1-meter (six-dive) events against Ohio Northern on Friday. He captured the the 1-meter five-dive event with a career-best total of 223.0 points and the 1-meter six-dive event with a total of 237.60. The combined total points were an NCAA 1-meter 11-dive qualifying mark. Pierce closed out the week by winning the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events on Saturday at John Carroll. He took the 1-meter event with a total of with a career-best total of 285.25 points and the 3-meter event with an NCAA qualifying total points of 282.85.
