INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Baldwin Wallace's Tyler Thompson, John Carroll's Ryan McClelland and Mount Union's Tyler Fry represented the OAC at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Natatorium, March 21-4. Individuals placing in the top-8 earn All-America honors.
BW senior Tyle Thompson (Braodview Hts./Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) placed 17th in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.93. Thompson also posted a time of 55.93 in the 50 freestyle as his optional event.
John Carroll sophomore Ryan McClelland earned earn All-America honors in both the one-meter and three-meter boards. McClelland finished sixth on the one-meter board with 456. 65 points and seventh on the three-meter board with 478.10 points.
Mount Union senior Tyler Fry (Massillon/Washington) finished 31st in the 200-yard backstroke prelims with a time of 1:52.31 and 23rd in the 100-yard backstroke prelims in 50.20. He also swam in the 200-yard freestyle and posted a time of 1:45.22.
