Austin, Texas-Baldwin Wallace sophomore forward Danny Ruple (Berea/Berea-Midpark) and Ohio Northern senior Chris Garbig (Wilder, Ky./Highlands) have been selected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Men's Soccer Academic All-America Team.
Ruple was named to the first team and is an accounting major with a 3.88 GPA. Ruple is a Dean's List student and an Academic All-OAC selection.
This season, Ruple earned OAC Forward of the Year and Frist Team All-OAC honors by leading the Yellow Jackets and the conference in goals, points and shots.
Garbig has been named to the second team and is an accounting major 4.00 GPA. Garbig is a three time Academic All-OAC honoree and earned First Team All-OAC honors for the second team time this season.
