Junior Alex Pizarro (Boonsboro, Md.) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the the week of Apr. 30.
Pizarro, now a 3-time OAC Defensive Player of the Week honoree, earned the award after helping ONU to a 2-0 week to end the regular season.
The junior goalkeeper with sensational in the goal this week, helping ONU to its first trip to the OAC Tournament in school history.
Pizarro was terrific in goal with 21 saves and a .525 save percentage in two victories as the Polar Bears won a share of the OAC Regular Season title in just their 3rd year as a program.

Barker made 13 saves in 60 minutes of work in the Pioneers 11-7 season opening victory over Muskingum on Saturday. Barker saved 65 percent of the shots he faced.

Seal tallied 11 points on the week with five goals and six assists. He had six points in a victory over Marietta, and then delivered another five to help beat Mount Union, 14-4.
