Patel finished in an 8-way tie for fifth out of 58 golfers over the par-70, 6448-yard course with a 3-over par 69-74—143. His first round 69 tied for the fifth-lowest round in school history and his 143 is the fifth-lowest 36 hole total in school history.

Baldwin Wallace junior Scott Schroeder (Aurora) carded back-to-back rounds of 71 to finish two under par to win medalist honors at the University of Mount Union Invitational held at Tannenhauf Golf Course. Schroeder led the Yellow Jackets to the team title and earned his third career medalist honor.

Otterbein senior David Monaco (Westerville/North) earned medalist honors at the Capital Fall Classic. Monaco finished nine under-par with a 135 (68-67) to help the Cardinals to the team title with a 568, 24 strokes ahead of second place Ohio Northern.

John Carroll sophomore Andrew Britton (Erie, Pa/Cathedral Prep) tied for third place at the Gatorade Intercollegiate hosted by the College of Wooster at Zoar Village Golf Course. Britton shot a 142 (70-72 par -2). The Blue Streaks finished fifth out of eleven teams.

Ohio Northern sophomore Tyler Davis (Liberty Center) won medalist honors and tied a 36-hole school record with a 2-under par 140 at the Defiance Invitational. Davis led his team to a first place finish of five teams at the Invitational.

Otterbein junior David Monaco (Westerville/North) won medalist honors in a playoff with Ohio Northern’s Blaine Ricketts at the OAC Spring Invitational held at Little Turtle in Westerville, Ohio. Both golfers shot a 148 over the two rounds. The Cardinals tied for first place with Ohio Northern, but the Polar Bears took home the team trophy by winning in a playoff.
