Mount Union junior Jarrett Ruffin (Northfield/Nordonia) averaged 20.5 points and ten rebounds per-game and shot 72.2 percent from the floor (13-of-18) last week to lead the Purple Raiders to a 2-0 record. Against Marietta, Ruffin posted his first double-double of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds. In the win over Heidelberg, Ruffin scored a game-high 25 points and posted nine rebounds.
