Mount Union junior Jarrett Ruffin (Northfield/Nordonia) averaged 22.5 points and 5.5 rebounds-per-game to lead the Purple Raiders past Baldwin Wallace (83-72) and Capital (80-76). Against Capital, Ruffin matched his career-high with 31 points and pulled down a season-high nine rebounds. He scored 21 of those points in the second half including Mount Union's last six points of the game. On the week, Ruffin shot 15-of-23 (.652), including four-of-eight (.500) from three-points range and was 11-of-16 from the free-throw line.
