Brett posted five multi-hit games to help the Cardinals to a 2-3 record and clinch the OAC Regular-Season title. On the week, Brett batted .458 (11-of-24) with five runs, nine RBI, three doubles and two home runs.
Brett opened with a 2-for-4 day against No. 1-ranked Wooster, and followed with two home runs and a five-RBI performance in a road win at 14th-ranked Franklin. He then had a combined four-hit day against No. 25 Marietta over the weekend as Otterbein took the second game of a doubleheader, 14-1.
